Andiamo Luggage

Design

The Andiamo Luggage Classico was designed to “redefine travel in style”, so it comes as little surprise that it scored high in the design section. My favorite was the Black Onyx and I was very impressed with the look of the luggage when I received it. The high glossy shell and the precision of the component shows a high level of attention to detail that has being consistent in Andiamo products throughout the years.

Storage

This Andiamo luggage has a very thoughtful interior design for storage. First of all, it is a 30/70 split design which is a big step up from the clamshell 50/50 split that most other hardcase luggage offers. This not only allows for easier arrangement of items inside, and also makes it easier to close the lid when you are fully packed. The computer and accessories sleeves come in handy when you are not carrying an extra laptop bag, and it is completely removable in case you need more room. At a capacity of 48 liters though, you should be well on your way.

Features

The most convenient feature on this Andiamo luggage is probably the USB port which is linked to an internal pocket where you can put a power bank. This allows you to charge your phone from your luggage while you are waiting at the airport. The Classico also comes with an aluminum frame structure and two TSA locks. Both adding to the durability and security of the case. One of the inside pockets is lined with a protective layer of RFID blocking material which prevents your personal information from being stolen.

Andiamo Luggage

Weight

This Andiamo luggage comes in at 10 lbs for the carryon. Given it is the higher end aluminum case, the weight is on the lighter end, but it is heavier than the ultra light suitcases available on the market.

Durability

The Andiamo Classico is built from very high end material. The shell is 100% German polycarbonate and the aluminum handle and frame are both aircraft grade material. With a 8 wheel spinner system, this luggage is built to last and will withstand the roughing of airport handlers.

Andiamo Luggage

Style

The Andiamo Classico comes in three colors: Black Onyx, Red Ruby and the Royal Sapphire. All three are darker shades, and all are very elegant. According to their website, Black Onyx is the best selling color.

Size

Currently this Andiamo Luggage only comes in the carry on size of 22” X 14” X 8.5”, which is in line with the newest FAA regulations. A larger checked size is expected to come out soon, but it is not yet available.

Andiamo Luggage

Warranty

This Andiamo luggage comes with a 10 year warranty, which is very good. What is even better is that if you buy through their website, you get a 100 day risk-free trial period. I believe that is the longest trial period in the industry, showing that the people behind Andiamo really believe in their products.

9.5 Total Score

This Andiamo Luggage is without a doubt one of the best pieces of luggage available on the market in the recent years. It is now one of my most frequently used pieces and I love it. With a 100 trial period, no harm in trying it out first!
